Just read over the whole fake review debacle. Basically someone photoshopped a fake review of the new Mario game under some YouTube’s name and gave it a 7/10. Nintendo zeolots go apeshit and give death threats without checking if the review was real or not.

I don’t get this. Why are people reading/watching reviews after they’ve made an opinion on a game they most likely already bought? Why are people getting bent out of shape that someone has an opinion that doesn’t conform to their own?

Are there people out there that are so weak that they cannot form an opinion on their own that they need to have it built by others and constantly reaffirmed? Or are they so stubbornly idiotic that they cannot separate their opinions from themselves so they take any conflicting opinions as a person threat? Maybe a combination of both?

It just doesn’t make any sense to me.

So I opened the Tumblr fone application thingy for the first time in ages and see shit from people I don’t remember following? Yo wtf? This really pisses me off.

As far as I’m concerned, these are ads. I don’t care what other people are doing on your site. If I didn’t follow them, I don’t want to see their shit. Why are you showing them to me?
